Second City Works is a branch of the well-known Second City that does corporate events, training, and videos with a comedy bent.

One such project was a series of internal H.R. training videos. Frequently, HR videos can be boring and dry, but with Second City at the helm, the approach was lighter, more comedic, yet still taking the subject matter seriously.

The resulting videos were born of a collaborative team effort, designing abstract characters to represent a wide range of people, that carried a bit of charm. We worked together to share some designs and some animations, but each of the editor/animators took ownership of one or two of the videos. The featured video here, Siloed Communication, was one of mine.
