For these RV Brand Featurettes, we had a lot of interview footage and a lot of B-roll, but the challenge was condensing it all into a short, tight video.
My task was to go through the transcripts and find the story, then piece together interview sound bites and b-roll.
For the Keystone video, the primary directive was to highlight the innovations created by the Research & Development team at Keystone. While there were tons of innovations to highlight, my approach is to create a central theme to keep the focus. I landed on the theme that “Keystone innovation makes RV camping better and more enjoyable for their customers.” From there I can select soundbites that help reinforce this theme, highlight a few specific innovations, but keep the project on message.
